"Why am I having such a tough time on mortal earth?"

Eye Dr.: "Okay, now I want you to put your feet at the back of the chair and your
knees at the front of the chair and sit up tall so you can see in this machine."
T-Man: "You mean you want me to kneel on the chair?"

T-Man: "I want to make a robot."
Daddy: "Why don't you draw a picture of what you want it to look like so you can plan it out first."
T-Man: "Okay"
Daddy: "Did you know that there are people called architects who draw pictures of buildings so they'll know how to make it?"
T-Man: "Kinda like blueprints?"
Daddy: (deflated) "Yes, kind of like blueprints"

T-Man: "Mommy, I want some toast"
Mommy: "Sure, just a minute please"
T-Man: "If you don't make me some toast, I'll have to go make it myself!!"
Mommy: (under her breath - please, please that would be great if you would make your own toast!)

Two signs that your son is watching too many commercials:
1. "Mommy, don't forget: 1-866-4-fel.dco"
2. From atop the hill at Grandpa's house: "Why don't you have a SunSe.tter?" (a retractable awning)
