Happy Presidents' Day!

We here at our house celebrate this holiday extensively; we have 44 stuffed animals named after the 44 Presidents of the United States (all chosen and named by Tyler).  My favorite is Eisenhower who is a four foot stuffed snake and Ulysses S. Grant.  I don't recall which stuffed animal he is, but Tyler pronounces his name Use-el-ess :)


Our morning consisted of making cookie dough and cutting out state shapes; mostly the state of Illinois.

 This one retrieved the baking sheets and supervised the inventory that fell on the floor.

This afternoon we did some decorating

 

And then this evening we had a Presidential dinner of
 Grover Cleveland Corn Kernels  
(the only president to serve two non-consecutive terms - 22nd & 24th President)
