Hope is a waiting dream.
Never stop hoping and dreaming!
Hope is the ability to hear the music of the future.
Faith is having the courage to dance to it today.

Walk for Adoption 2012
Well, we did it again -- Survived and loved another Walk! Year three was our best year yet -- we had over 255 people register for the event. The weather wasn't cooperative, so our number of attendees was not as high as we had hoped, but it was a fun morning with adoption supporters and those who love adoption!!

Getting Bigger by the Minute
Isaac has been pretty busy around here lately! He has added two more teeth, a wave to his repertoire (when I tell Tyler I am taking Isaac up to bed, Isaac waves good-bye to him), and an appetite for "real" food that is going to break the bank! These are a few more things he's been up to:
Playing in our Submarine Ball Pit
Peek-a-Boo through the Spindles
Hanging out in the Cabinets
and "Folding" his arms for prayer.

Reading, Righting, and Multiplcashun
I love this kid! I printed an activity book for Tyler to work on during church today. I'm thinking he nailed these questions pretty well....
He is VERY talented at "multiplcashun" and wants to get better at "righting".
I might also suggest some spelling practice, too :)

Happy Presidents' Day!
We here at our house celebrate this holiday extensively; we have 44 stuffed animals named after the 44 Presidents of the United States (all chosen and named by Tyler). My favorite is Eisenhower who is a four foot stuffed snake and Ulysses S. Grant. I don't recall which stuffed animal he is, but Tyler pronounces his name Use-el-ess :)
Our morning consisted of making cookie dough and cutting out state shapes; mostly the state of Illinois.

This one retrieved the baking sheets and supervised the inventory that fell on the floor.
(All from his command center of a pizza pan - enlarge the photo; it's under his bum!)
(Please note the Diet Pepsi on the counter - yes, that's mine. 2 of 3 today)
This afternoon we did some decorating
And then this evening we had a Presidential dinner of
Grover Cleveland Corn Kernels
(the only president to serve two non-consecutive terms - 22nd & 24th President)

100th Day
Apparently the 100th day of Kindergarten is a pretty big deal. They had to take 100 things to school to count and group into sets of 10. We decided to add a little extra to his experience and so he and I made him a 100 Wiggly-Eyed Monster on a t-shirt. The best part; there was no mistaking where T-Man was; he jingled and clanked wherever he walked!

T-Man loves to carry the camera around the house and take pictures of anything. My younger brother is known for "borrowing" your camera while he is at your house and taking a close-up picture of his face/nostrils. T-Man's M.O. - unsuspecting people's backsides; namely mine. This time, however, he managed this picture of me with Isaac. A much preferred angle.

Buggy about Valentine's Day
We made our version of the Love Bug Valentines for T-Man's kindergarten class. They have to take them in this week so we've been working hard to get them finished in time!
| They are numbering them (each child has a number) instead of writing all those names :) |
Seriously?? 5 Months since a post??
Wow, where has the time gone?? Five months since a post, and a whole year since Isaac joined our family? Really? At some point I will get caught up. For now -- a few pics. from Isaac's big day:
Happy 1st Birthday, Isaac!!
