Hope is a waiting dream.
Never stop hoping and dreaming!
Hope is the ability to hear the music of the future.
Faith is having the courage to dance to it today.

Hey, That's Us!
It's a fun little story --
I entered a Facebook contest to win one of the five DVD's "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" that the National Council for Adoption was giving away. I actually won one of them! (That's rare, I never win anything except for the time I won a door prize but was in the bathroom throwing up from food poisoning, so I was ineligible for not being present to win).
When NCFA contacted me about my win, they also asked if I would like to share our story for their new blog. Of course I said yes -- I'll share our adoption story with anyone who will listen :) She then emailed back to see if they could use our photo on their FB page -- yet again, I said yes. And there we are...

2013
Can I get an amen?!
2012 was not very kind to us -- we are so looking for a fresh start, a clean slate, and a chance to begin anew and make 2013 THE BEST year yet for our little family!
Welcome 2013! We've been waiting for you :)

Walk for Adoption 2012
Well, we did it again -- Survived and loved another Walk! Year three was our best year yet -- we had over 255 people register for the event. The weather wasn't cooperative, so our number of attendees was not as high as we had hoped, but it was a fun morning with adoption supporters and those who love adoption!!

Getting Bigger by the Minute
Isaac has been pretty busy around here lately! He has added two more teeth, a wave to his repertoire (when I tell Tyler I am taking Isaac up to bed, Isaac waves good-bye to him), and an appetite for "real" food that is going to break the bank! These are a few more things he's been up to:
Playing in our Submarine Ball Pit
Peek-a-Boo through the Spindles
Hanging out in the Cabinets
and "Folding" his arms for prayer.

Reading, Righting, and Multiplcashun
I love this kid! I printed an activity book for Tyler to work on during church today. I'm thinking he nailed these questions pretty well....
He is VERY talented at "multiplcashun" and wants to get better at "righting".
I might also suggest some spelling practice, too :)
